PARAGLASS 8MM

Parabeam 3D glass fabric is woven out of a 100% e-glass yarn and consists of two deck layers bonded together by vertical piles in a sandwich structure. These piles are woven into the deck layers in order to form an integral sandwich structure. When Parabeam is impregnated with a thermoset resin, the fabric absorbs the resin and rises to a preset height due to the inherent capillary forces of the piles.
Parabeam can be used as a positive alternative to traditional sandwich laminates based on plywood, balsa, solid laminate, honeycomb, and foam substrates. Parabeam fabrics are available in thicknesses ranging from 3 to 22 mm, and offer excellent impregnation, resilience, and drape qualities. Parabeam can also meet rigorous fire classification standards with the use of phenolic or ATH type resins.
